Dubai Unveils the Innovative Autonomous Transport System Floc Duo

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) showcased Floc Duo, a cutting-edge transport system at Gitex Global 2024, which aims to transform urban mobility. Floc Duo features autonomous electric pods that can travel on roads, through tunnels, and over viaducts. These pods can operate individually or in synchronized groups, adjusting to real-time traffic conditions.

Key features of the system include:

 • Fully automated pods with no need for drivers.

 • Seamless integration with the existing transport infrastructure.

 • Floc Duo operates on electricity, reducing environmental emissions.

 • Designed to manage traffic congestion 

 • Compatible with other public transportation modes for uninterrupted travel.

Upon successful completion of testing, Floc Duo is planned for large-scale implementation in Dubai.
