New UAE’s Blue Residency Visa
The UAE Cabinet has approved a residence visa for exceptional contributions in protecting the environment. This visa is issued for 10 years.
The goal is to attract international experts specializing in environmental protection and sustainable technologies.
Long-term Blue Residency will be granted to:
- Members of International Companies and Non-governmental Organisations
- Distinguished Activists and Researchers
- Award Winners
The initiative is in line with the goals of the COP28 summit, which are aimed at combating climate change.
This is the second UAE residence visa, alongside the Golden Visa, that can be obtained for 10 years.
