Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism launched the Dubai Reef project

Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) launched the Dubai Reef project, one of the world's largest marine reef developments.

It's volume is 400,000m3, area - 600km2.

The project is part of the city's efforts to:

• Increase Fish Stocks
• Support Sustainable Fishing
• Boost Food Security
• Reduce Carbon Emissions
• Increase Marine Biodiversity

This is in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33

Dubai is planned to become the world's most cycle friendly city by 2040, surpassing Amsterdam and Copenhagen.

URB, a global leader in developing sustainable cities, has unveiled a Dubai cycling master plan. 

It aims to:

• Create the smartest and most connected cycling infrastructure in the world, including 93km highway, The Loop
• Flip the mode of transport, allowing residents to cycle or walkтto key locations within minutes
