Dubai economy grew to $225.9 billion from January to September of 2022.

This is 10.5% more than in the same period in 2021, the highest in the Middle East and North Africa. Earlier, it was reported that Abu Dhabi airports welcomed 15.9 million passengers in 2022.

The Government of Ras Al Khaimah will launch the world's first free zone dedicated to digital and virtual asset companies.

The free zone is called RAK Digital Assets Oasis and will be launched in Q2 2023. The launch of RAK Digital Assets Oasis will strengthen the UAE's position in the global market, attracting more entrepreneurs and investors to the country.

Air traffic movements in the UAE recovered to pre-pandemic levels in January 2023.

In 2022, passenger traffic was close to the 2019 figures. Passenger volume is expected to reach pre-pandemic levels by the end of 2023.
