The Leader of Dubai celebrates his Birthday

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid was born on July 15th, 1949.

He became the Ruler of Dubai on January 4th, 2006, and was elected as the UAE’s Vice President the next day. On February 11th, he became the Prime Minister of the UAE.

A little from the biography of the Leader of Dubai:

The third son of Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum grew up in family residence, which is now a historical monument in Dubai.

From the age of 4 he studied Arabic and Islamic studies. After high school he attended Mons Officer Cadet School, now part of Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, England. He became the best student and went to Italy to be trained as a pilot.

In 1968, when he was 19, he became the world's youngest defence minister and was appointed the head of Dubai Police and Public Security force.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has made a significant contribution to the development of Dubai. During his reign:

– Opening of Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Metro 

– Launch of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre

– Development of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan

– Organization of Expo 2020 and the Climate Change Conference, COP28

– Establishing of 30+ International Humanitarian Initiatives, etc.
