Dubai's DIAEH School Shortlisted for International Green Initiatives Award

Dubai International Academy Emirates Hills (DIAEH) has reached the finals of the World’s Best School Prize for its environmental initiatives.

The school is among three contenders for the award, thanks to a successful student-led e-waste recycling campaign. With the involvement of over 5,000 students, parents, and staff, the school collected more than 2 tons of electronic waste as part of World Environment Day and Sustainability Month.

Launched in 2022, the World’s Best School Prize celebrates educational institutions that embrace innovative teaching methods, engage in solving global challenges, and foster healthy lifestyles among students.

Winners will be announced in October, with each of the five category winners receiving a cash prize of $10,000.
