Dubai's population increased in Q1 2024
According to the Dubai Statistics Centre data from January to March 2024, population increased by 25,776 people.
This surpassed the figure for Q1 2023 – 25,489 people.
The increase is explained by the influx of foreign specialists and investors.
The total population of Dubai – 3,680,785. In 2023, it grew by 100,000 + people.
Over 1 mln transactions valued $14+ bn were completed in Q1 2024 in the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
26,596 new investor accounts were opened, which is a growth of 103% compared to Q1 2023.
In March 2024:
- Trading Volumes increased by 36.9%, Compared to February 2024, Reached 4.8 Bn Shares
- DFM General Index dropped by 1.5%
- Real Estate Index increased by 4%
