Emirates Airlines has reported that summer 2023 has become one of its busiest summers ever
It has operated nearly 50,000 flights to and from 140 cities, carried 14+ million passengers with average seat load factors over 80% in Q3 2023.
2 million passengers travelled to Dubai, over 35% of them were families, staying an average of 2+ weeks.
Major inbound markets to Dubai included:
- UK
- India
- Germany
- Pakistan
- Saudi Arabia
Dubai International Airport (DXB) traffic in H1 2023 has increased by 49%, compared to the same period in 2022, exceeded pre-pandemic levels of 2019
According to the DXB administration:
- Handled flights rose by 30%, compared to H1 2022, and increased by 13%, compared to H1 2019
- Average number of guests per flight reached 214 with load factor of 77%
TOP 3 destination countries by passenger volume:
- India – 6 million
- Saudi Arabia – 3.1 million
- UK – 2.8 million
