Extended Winter Break for UAE Schoolchildren in December 2024
Thanks to the overlap of public holidays and the start of winter break, students will enjoy almost a full month off.
National Day, celebrated on December 2 and 3, falls at the beginning of the school month. Winter break in Dubai and Abu Dhabi starts on December 16, while in Sharjah, it begins on December 23. This means students in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will attend school for only eight days in December.
