Massive Expansion of Expo City Dubai

Ruler of Dubai has approved $2.7 billion plan for the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DIEC) renovation

Location: Expo City Dubai

The expansion will take place in 3 key phases and will include:

• Increase in the exhibition area to 180,000m², accommodating 26 halls with a total length of 1.2km
• Enhancements of road networks and multi-storey parking
• Construction of 300+ hotels, retail outlets, and offices

By 2031, DEC plans to become the largest region's exhibition centre and will hold 600+ events per year. 

The expansion is part of Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
