Ruler of Dubai has set out a master plan to transform Dubai's rural areas
Goals:
– To increase annual tourist numbers by 500% by 2040
– To enhance life quality in remote communities
37 projects worth $106 million include the development of cultural centres and parks, transport networks and healthcare facilities.
One of the projects is the Saih Al Salam Scenic Route. Located within a half-hour drive from Dubai, it will feature:
- 98km of Tracks and Desert Marquees
- Walking Paths Around 3 Lakes
- 5 Themed Zones with Entertainment Facilities
Completion of the master plan – 2028
