New Speed Limits on Dubai Roads

Changes in Speed Limits on Key Dubai Highways

Speed limits have been adjusted on two of Dubai’s major roads: Al Amardi Street and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Street. The updated speed limits will be implemented starting September 30, 2024.

• Dubai-Al Ain Road to the roundabout with Dubai Academic City: Speed limit increased to 100 km/h.
• Roundabout with Dubai Academic City to Al Khawaneej Street: Speed limit reduced to 90 km/h.
• Al Khawaneej Street to Emirates Road (E611): Speed limit reduced to 90 km/h.

These changes aim to enhance road safety and optimize traffic flow, particularly in light of the growing number of tourists.
