Emaar Properties, one of Dubai’s leading developers, has announced the launch of a new ambitious project — the construction of a supertower that aims to become one of the world’s tallest buildings.

Positioned as a rival to the iconic Burj Khalifa, the new skyscraper aims to surpass other notable projects like Burj Azizi.  Although the exact location has not been confirmed, prime areas such as Dubai Creek Harbour and Downtown Dubai are under consideration.
