New VISA System and third-generation UAE passport

Were announced by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) on Monday, September 5. The new generation of services will start on October 3, 2022. The updated visa system includes: 5-year Green Visa

• For skilled workers
• For self-employment
• For investors and partners in commercial activities

Jobseeker Visa

• Allows you to come to the UAE without the need of a sponsor. It is essentially an updated entry permit system.

Additional benefits for Golden Visa holders

• The Visa remains valid regardless of how much time the holder spends outside the UAE
• Removal of the limit on the number of sponsored domestic labourers, etc.

The new UAE passport is printed using laser technology.
