Places Prohibited for Children in the UAE

Reminder of places where children are not allowed in the UAE

According to the law, there are certain places that are strictly off-limits to children, even if accompanied by adults. The prohibition is in place to ensure their safety and protect them from potential health and life-threatening hazards.

Such places include:

• Nightclubs
• Smoking areas
• Industrial sites with hazardous working conditions (laboratories, factories, mines, etc.)
• Locations for the storage and disposal of hazardous substances
• Areas of military action and natural disasters
• Sites for the production of weapons and narcotics
• Venues selling adult-only products

Visits to these locations as part of organized groups (such as school trips) are only allowed with special permission from the Ministry of Education.
