- Start of Marine Works on Palm Jebel Ali
The developer, Nakheel, has started marine works on the island megaproject
This is an important stage in the development of the artificial archipelago.
Under the terms of the $220 million contract, the construction company, Jan De Nul Dredging LTD, will undertake dredging, land reclamation, and sand placement.
The first 8 fronds of the island will be ready for villa infrastructure by Q1 2025.
In May, the developer awarded a contract for the construction of roads on Palm Jebel Ali.
