Dubai Introduces Mandatory ‘Student Passports’ for Newborns

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has launched a new initiative to ensure all children in the emirate have equal access to quality education. Under this initiative, every newborn in Dubai will automatically receive a ‘Student Passport.’

The ‘passport’ is a personalized document that will follow the child throughout their educational journey. The aim is to guarantee that no child is left without education, as well as to help parents make informed decisions about their children's educational paths.

The ‘Student Passport’ system will be implemented in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority.
