Dubai ranked 1 place among the MENA cities as well as 2 place in the world in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in the creative economy in 2021. According to the report by the Dubai Investment Development Agency, the Еmirate attracted 233 greenfield FDI projects. Dubai attracted FDI in the creative economy worth $13.8 billion from 2017 to 2021.

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the opening of the Dubai-Al Ain motorway.
