The Dubai Government has approved a master plan for the futuristic Palm Jebel Ali project
– Area – 13.4km², twice the size of Palm Jumeirah. Features of the mega project:
- 110km of New Shoreline
- Beaches and Green Spaces
- 80 Hotels and Resorts
- Malls
- Entertainment and Leisure Facilities
The Palm Jebel Ali construction started in 2002 and stopped in 2008. The project resume spearhead by Nakheel developer. The project is aimed at raising the quality of life and happiness of residents. – It is a part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which also includes the lengthening of the beaches in the emirate by 400%.
