In 2024, the population of Abu Dhabi reached 3,789,860 people
According to the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD), it is 83% more than in 2011.
Population:
- Males – 2,541,465 people, 67%
- Females – 1,248,395 people, 33%
The vast majority of the population resides in two cities within the emirate:
- Abu Dhabi – 2,541,465 people, 66%
- Al Ain – 1,009,735 people, 27%
In 2023, $4.4 billion was invested in the development of Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre has developed 80 projects to improve the infrastructure of the UAE capital.
71 projects was completed last year, including:
- 9000+ Housing Units
- Parks, Schools and Community Centres
- Zayed Port Tunnel
- Road junction at Zayed International Airport
- Umm Yifeenah Bridge, etc.
