From September 28, 2022, the UAE will cancel the mask regime.

This was announced by The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Emergency Management Authority. The rules for wearing masks have not yet been canceled in:

  • Mosques
  • Medical institutions and hospitals
  • Public transport

Abu Dhabi and Dubai are recognized as the largest financial centres in the Middle East.

In Global Financial Centers Index 32 ranking compiled by Bloomberg news agency:

  • Dubai – 17th in the world
  • Abu Dhabi – 32nd in the world
