The UAE Simplifies Entry Procedures for Residents of Gulf Countries: 30-day visas Introduced
The government of the United Arab Emirates has announced new entry rules for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Citizens of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, who hold residency in these nations, can now apply for 30-day visas to visit the UAE.
Visa applications can be submitted online through the portals of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) or the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP). The visa is valid for 30 days from entry and can be extended for an additional 30 days. Applicants must have a valid passport and residency in a GCC country. Family members of GCC residents can also apply, provided they travel with the sponsor.
