The UAE ranked 2nd in solar consumption in 2022

The UAE has been ranked 2nd globally in terms of per capita solar consumption in 2022

According to the data from the Statistical Review of World Energy:

1. Australia – 3,868 kilowatt hours
2. UAE – 1,921 kilowatt hours

90% of the UAE land mass has the capability to produce solar energy. The country is developing:

• World's largest solar plant in Abu Dhabi
• Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai

The UAE and Armenia have reached a visa-free regime agreement for the citizens of the two countries

Earlier, it was allowed only for the citizens with Diplomatic passports.
