UAE's Key Achievements in 2024

The UAE's competitive performance in 2024 has been recognised as its highest ever

– According to the report by the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland. 

The country ranked first globally in 223 indicators, such as investments, finance, digital infrastructure, etc.

UAE has also entered the TOP 5 countries in 444 indicators, including:

1. Place – Number of Mobile and Internet Users

2. Place – Tourism Revenue as a Percentage of GDP, Digital Talents

3. Place – Air Transport Service Efficiency

4. Place – Goods Exports as a Percentage of GDP

5. Place – Business Startup Procedures, Financial System Flexibility, and Economic Cluster Development

During the final Cabinet meeting of 2024, the Ruler of Dubai approved 4 initiatives:

• UAE Entrepreneurship Council – to support youth projects.
• $1.9 million award for Zero Bureaucracy – to encourage projects aimed to simplify government procedures.
• National policy for preserving the UAE's modern architectural heritage – to strengthen the UAE's identity.
• $82 million Entrepreneurship Fund – to support business culture and encourage the entrepreneurial mentality in the UAE.
