Launch of Ultrafast Charging Stations Network for Electric Vehicles in Ras Al Khaimah
On Monday, October 14, the National Company UAEV and the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) signed an agreement to deploy a network of ultrafast charging stations for electric vehicles across the emirate.
The new stations will enable electric vehicle owners to quickly charge their vehicles. UAEV will handle all aspects of the project, from equipment installation to data management.
Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, a board member of UAEV, stated that the company fully supports the UAE’s strategy for achieving carbon neutrality and promotes sustainable mobility. He emphasized that the partnership with RAKTA will reduce emissions from the transport sector, stimulate economic growth, and help preserve the environment.
