- Visa Amnesty in the UAE
The UAE visa amnesty program offers residents and visitors with visa violations an opportunity to update their status or leave the country without incurring fines. Those who want to leave the UAE will not face an entry ban and can return to the Emirates legally at any time.
The amnesty covers all types of visas, including tourist and expired visas. Individuals born without documentation can use the amnesty to regularize their status.
However, illegal residents are not eligible for this amnesty. The amnesty program will run for two months, from September 1 to October 30, 2024.
