Hatta marker broke the world record

The Hatta marker has broken the Guinness World Record for the tallest landmark sign

– Hatta, Dubai

The sign is located at the height of 450m in the Hajar Mountains near the Oman border, and measures 19.28m tall. It is taller than the famed Hollywood sign in the USA on 5.6m.

The Hatta sign welcomes visitors to the tourist area, which include:

• Adventure Centre, Hatta Wadi Hub
• Hatta Green Lake
• Hatta Heritage Village
• Hatta Dam
• Glamping
• Mountain Biking and Hiking Tracks, and many more

The development plans for Hatta was unveiled in 2021. Designed as a year-round tourist destination, they feature:

• Beach
• Artificial Lake
• Waterfall
• Cable Railway
• Hotels
• 120km bicycle paths
