The government's hotel fees will be slashed in Abu Dhabi

According to the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the change is set to take effect from September 1, 2023, and includes a removal of:

• Municipality daily fee per room
• 6% tourism fee and 4% municipality fee applied to hotel restaurants

Tourism fee levied to guests went down from 6% to 4%.

Dubai's toll usage revenue reached an all-time high in Q2 2023

This is an increase of 13.8% compared to the same period 2022.

A road toll system, Salik, has announced:

• Revenue-generating trips in Q2 2023 exceeded pre-pandemic peaks by 6%
• 100% of H1 2023 net profit was approved as dividend distribution

Dubai-Sharjah ferry service has been launched

The ferry departs from Al Ghubaiba Station in Dubai, sails past Dubai Islands, and arrives at Sharjah Aquarium Marine Station.
