The UAE participated at G20 Summit

The UAE participated as a guest country at G20 Summit in New Delhi on September 9–10, 2023

The G20 countries are the UAE's largest trading partners. In 2022, non-oil trade between two sides reached $341 billion – 55% of the UAE's total foreign trade.

India, UAE and Saudi Arabia announced the creation of the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), aimed to:

• Boost trade
• Enhance integration between countries
• Reduce shipping costs

The UAE has joined the Global Biofuel Alliance (GBA), launched by India to:

• Take ethanol blending with petrol up to 20% or work on another mix
• Develop the use of biofuels to achieve net zero emissions
